Our Story

The Ephraims Care Group was first established in 1995, commencing with the purchase of Allenbrook Care Home, catering for 36 residents.

A few years later we had the opportunity to purchase The Vicarage which provides specialist care for residents with severe Dementia and Alzheimers in the Shrewsbury area. Following The Vicarage’s success, in the last few years we have extended our capacity to provide care for 52 residents.

In the last 5 years, we have purchased and managed Oriel Care Home in Stourbridge and The Shrubbery Care Home in Kidderminster.

Due to strong demand, we recently built 4 extra bedrooms and a large orangery at Oriel. We are also at the present moment talking to planners at Kidderminster to increase our occupancy at Shrubbery by a substantial amount. We are hoping that we will be successful here.

The Ephraims Care Group is a family run business and we enjoy extending this ethos into our homes. Our strong commitment to providing the highest levels of quality care has been the key to our success in running well managed and efficient homes. We strongly believe that a well trained and motivated team of staff are crucial in providing first class care. An excellent choice of healthy and nutritious food and a well planned and comprehensive Activities Programme is provided by each Home.
